Polestar 2's origami-inspired headlights can shine without blinding. Upon selecting the active high beam function, camera sensors in the windshield monitor for the headlights of approaching vehicles or the taillights of cars directly ahead. Once detected, Polestar 2's headlights automatically switch to low beam.

To accentuate the body lines and the intricate styling details, Polestar 2 is only available in select metallic paint finishes. Each of them carefully matched to the car's design. 

For ease of maneuvering in tight spaces, you can tilt the side mirrors downwards when in reverse. When parked, you can fold them in to lessen the risk of damage from passing vehicles.

The Polestar 2 comes as standard with 19" 5-Double Spoke Black Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, equipped with 245/45R19 tires. 

The Polestar 2's front and rear seats are upholstered in expressive 3D-embossed textile, influenced by the fashion industry. 3D Etched deco inlays made of injection-molded plastic with a striking geometric pattern highlight the technical inspiration behind the design.

Both the driver's seat and the seat cushion itself are adjustable, enabling a highly customizable level of comfort for the driver. Controls on the side of the seat allow adjustments of the seat and the door mirrors.

Adjustable seats aren't just reserved for the driver. The front passenger seat is every bit as comfortable and customizable as the driver's seat.

The front seats also boast adjustable lumbar support. Controlled by 4-way ergonomic buttons on the edge of the seat.

An elevated sitting experience. The driver seat and front passenger seat are electrically heated with individual three-level touch controls as standard.

As well as front and rear general lighting and reading lamps, lights are integrated into the handles. When the front door is opened, the area underneath is illuminated, as well as the floor by the front seats. The distinctive area housing the equally distinctive gear-shifter is illuminated at all times.

No more glare. The frameless rearview mirror automatically dims when it senses bright headlights from a car approaching from the rear. 

There are four cup holders in Polestar 2. The front of the car has two cup holders, one in front of and one underneath the center armrest. There are two more cup holders in the rear of the car, in the folding center armrest.

Drive a car that stays as current as the day it left the factory. Polestar 2's built-in Android Automotive operating system is connected to the Internet, ready to receive regular over-the-air updates just like a smartphone.

The Polestar 2 is the first car to come with a built-in Google¹ infotainment system. It offers the Google Assistant, which has been perfected to understand user commands in various languages; Google Maps¹, which offers real-time and up-to-date information; and Google Play Store¹, which offers a full suite of apps which have been optimized for the in-car experience.

With Apple CarPlay®, you can use your iPhone® by either voice commands and or the car's large touchscreen, allowing you to keep your attention on the road. Listen to music, make phone calls, get directions driving instructions, send/receive messages and use Siri®, all while remaining focused on driving. CarPlay works with compatible select iOS devices.*

You can use the connect button inside the car for assistance and help in case of emergency. The Polestar 2 even makes an emergency call itself in the event of an accident or if it’s being stolen.

Reversing is reimagined in the Polestar 2, with the center display offering an unobstructed view of the area behind the car. It’s also possible to zoom in on the tow hitch when towing a trailer.

With the electronically-controlled climate system, the driver and passenger can set individual temperatures on the center touch screen. It’s also possible to adjust the temperature on both sides simultaneously. In addition to floor vents, there are uniquely designed, adjustable air vents that synchronize with the front air vents.

If you have a key fob, key tag or Polestar Digital Key with you, you only have to put your hand on a door handle or touch the tailgate button to unlock the car. Repeat the process to lock the Polestar 2. You can even open the tailgate with just a simple kick under the rear bumper. A 1 m-long (3.3-ft) sensor detects your foot and opens the tailgate.

With the Polestar 2, the driver’s phone is the authentication device. You can use the Polestar app to connect to the car. The car only unlocks when you touch the door handle. A key fob and key tag are also included.

When you lock the Polestar 2, the standard-fitted alarm system activates. The alarm is triggered if any of the doors or hatches are opened, or if any of the windows are broken. It’s also triggered if the Polestar 2 has been lifted for towing or wheel removal. The inclination and interior movement sensors can be turned off if necessary.

The child safety locks can be toggled via a button. This also locks the rear windows, which can then be controlled only via the controls in the front.
